CommuniCon 2 will be held on October 19-20 inside the Embassy Suites Glendale in Los Angeles. The funding is paying for the venue itself, decorations and badges, Kickstarter rewards and producing a documentary covering the event. The additional funding will be used to make both the convention and the documentary that much more superb. Check out the event's poster below.

Oddly enough, they haven?t even waited an entire year since the first event, which was held this past February. But it gives us a good idea of what attendees can expect to see. Since it?s being put together by superfan Gillian Morshedi, it is in no way affiliated with Sony, NBC, or anyone involved with the show itself. February?s con was headlined by a Q&A presentation by creator Dan Harmon, and stars Yvette Nicole Brown and Gillian Jacobs were on-hand for fan interactions. Beyond that, there was a writers? panel, a supporting actors? panel, a trivia contest, a costume contest and a panel about PixelDrip Gallery?s Six Seasons and a Movie art exhibit. And while there are no guarantees on who will show up this time around, rarely is the sophomore effort a smaller affair in the world of conventions. Especially if a documentary will be filmed. Maybe a performance by Childish Gambino is in order. Or at least an impersonator.
